Custom Logo Options for Jewelry Packaging
Embossing, debossing, foil stamping, screen printing, embroidery, and laser engraving — every technique we offer is designed to place your brand identity at the center of the packaging experience.
Your Logo Is Your Signature
In luxury jewelry packaging, your logo is more than a mark of origin — it is a promise of quality. How that logo is applied, where it is placed, and the technique used to render it all communicate something about your brand before a single word is spoken.
At Vela Packaging, we offer a comprehensive range of custom logo application techniques. Each one produces a distinct aesthetic and tactile effect, and our team will guide you to the technique — or combination of techniques — that best reinforces your brand identity.
Eight Ways to Apply Your Logo
Each technique produces a unique visual and tactile result. Below, we detail what each involves, how it looks, and which packaging formats it works best with.
Blind Embossing
Blind embossing creates a raised impression of your logo without any ink, foil, or color — relying solely on light, shadow, and texture to make the design visible. The result is subtle, sophisticated, and unmistakably premium. The die is heated and pressed into the material under pressure, permanently reshaping the surface.
Best for: Leather and leatherette boxes, leather pouches, premium paper board packaging. Ideal for brands that favor minimalism and understatement.
Finish: Matte, natural material texture

Debossing
The inverse of embossing, debossing presses your logo below the surface of the material, creating a recessed impression. The effect is clean and architectural — a subtle indentation that reveals itself through touch as much as sight. Debossing can be left blind or filled with foil or ink for added contrast.
Best for: Thick leather, suede, and heavy-weight paper stocks where the depth of the impression is most pronounced and visually striking.
Finish: Recessed, tactile impression

Gold Foil Stamping
Gold foil stamping is the signature technique of luxury packaging. A heated die transfers a thin layer of metallic gold foil onto the surface, creating a luminous, reflective finish that catches light from every angle. We offer matte gold, bright gold, and antique gold foil options to match your brand's warmth and character.
Best for: Jewelry boxes, rigid packaging, and paper-wrapped products. The most popular choice for high-end bridal, fine jewelry, and watch brands.
Finish: Metallic, reflective, luminous

Silver Foil Stamping
Silver foil delivers a cool, contemporary counterpoint to gold. Available in bright mirror-finish silver, matte silver, and brushed silver effects, this technique is especially striking on dark-colored substrates — navy, black, charcoal, and deep burgundy. Silver foil is also the foundation for holographic and iridescent effects.
Best for: Contemporary jewelry brands, men's jewelry lines, and watch packaging. Pairs exceptionally well with dark leather and navy paper stocks.
Finish: Metallic, cool-toned, modern

Colored Foil Stamping
Beyond gold and silver, we offer an extensive range of colored metallic and pigmented foils — rose gold, copper, bronze, champagne, and custom Pantone-matched colors. Colored foil stamping allows you to reinforce your brand palette directly on the packaging surface, creating a cohesive visual identity from box to bag to pouch.
Best for: Brands with distinctive color identities, seasonal collections, limited-edition releases, and co-branded collaborations.
Finish: Metallic or pigmented, brand-specific

Screen Printing
Screen printing deposits ink directly onto the packaging surface through a fine mesh stencil, delivering sharp, precise reproduction of even the most detailed logos. Unlike foil stamping, screen printing supports gradients, fine lines, and multi-color designs in a single application. UV-cured inks ensure exceptional adhesion and durability.
Best for: Logos with fine detail, multi-color designs, or photographic elements. Excellent on microfiber pouches, fabric bags, and smooth paper surfaces.
Finish: Flat, precise, multi-color capable

Embroidery
Thread-based logo application brings a handcrafted, artisanal quality that no printing or stamping technique can replicate. Each stitch adds dimension and texture, creating a logo that feels alive and substantial. Embroidery is particularly compelling on soft goods — pouches, drawstring bags, and roll-up travel cases.
Best for: Suede and microfiber pouches, fabric jewelry bags, and travel accessories. Ideal for crests, monograms, and heritage brand marks.
Finish: Textured, dimensional, handcrafted feel

Laser Engraving
A focused laser beam removes material from the surface to create a permanent, precision-etched logo. Laser engraving offers unmatched detail and consistency — every line, curve, and serif is rendered with digital accuracy. The technique works on a wide range of materials including wood, metal hardware, acrylic, and certain leathers.
Best for: Wooden jewelry boxes, metal clasps and hardware, acrylic displays, and leather where a burned-edge aesthetic is desired.
Finish: Etched, permanent, precision-detailed

Pantone Color Matching
Your brand colors are non-negotiable. We use the Pantone Matching System to ensure absolute precision and consistency across every piece, every order, every time.
Exact Color Reproduction
We use the Pantone Matching System to ensure your brand colors are reproduced precisely — not approximately — across every piece of packaging we produce.
Cross-Material Consistency
Whether your logo appears on a leather box, a paper bag, or a microfiber pouch, Pantone matching ensures the color reads the same across every substrate and technique.
Batch-to-Batch Reliability
Every reorder matches your original approval sample. We archive your Pantone specifications and production parameters so consistency is maintained indefinitely.
Custom Foil Matching
Beyond standard gold and silver, we can source custom Pantone-matched foils to stamp your logo in your exact brand color with a metallic finish.
Where Your Logo Lives
Logo placement is a design decision that affects how and when your brand is noticed. We offer a range of standard and custom placement options across all packaging formats.
Box Lid — Centered
The most classic placement. Your logo sits centered on the top of the box lid, creating a symmetrical, balanced presentation that draws the eye immediately.
Box Lid — Corner
A more contemporary option, corner placement creates visual interest through asymmetry. Often paired with a smaller logo scale for a subtle, editorial feel.
Box Interior — Lid Underside
A hidden surprise that reveals itself upon opening. Interior logo placement adds a layer of discovery and reinforces brand presence without competing with the exterior design.
Pouch — Front Center
Centered on the front face of the pouch, this placement ensures maximum logo visibility whether the pouch is displayed flat or standing.
Pouch — Flap or Closure
Placing the logo on the flap or closure area creates a branded moment at the point of opening — the last thing the customer sees before the jewelry is revealed.
Ribbon or Pull Tab
Branded ribbons, pull tabs, and ties add a final layer of detail. Even the smallest touchpoints can carry your logo or brand mark.
