Velvet & Premium Fabric Jewelry Packaging

Soft, refined fabrics that cradle jewelry with elegance — velvet, suede, silk, and microfiber in your custom colors.

The Experience

Where Touch Meets Luxury

Fabric is the first thing your customer feels when they open a jewelry box — before they see the piece inside, before they read your brand name. The smooth coolness of silk, the plush depth of velvet, the warm nap of suede — each creates an emotional signature that shapes how your jewelry is perceived. Choosing the right fabric is not a finishing detail; it is a brand decision.

How Fabrics Work in Packaging

Box Coverings

The exterior fabric sets the tone before the box is even opened. Heavyweight velvet and tightly woven linen create a structured, substantial feel, while suede adds warmth and understated sophistication. We reinforce all covering fabrics with a backing layer to ensure clean edges and lasting durability.

Interior Linings

Interior fabrics protect the jewelry and define the reveal moment. Silk and satin linings on the lid interior catch the light as the box opens, while velvet or microfiber on the base cradles the piece securely. We can combine different fabrics within a single box for contrast and visual depth.

Pouches & Wraps

Pouches demand fabrics that are soft enough to protect delicate finishes yet structured enough to hold their shape. Lightweight velvet and microfiber are our most popular choices — both are anti-scratch and lint-free. For drawstring pouches, we recommend suede or silk for a refined drape and smooth closure.

FAQ

Common Questions About Fabrics

Yes. We offer custom Pantone dyeing on all our velvet weights — from lightweight pouch fabric to heavyweight box covering. Share your Pantone reference during the quoting stage, and we will produce a dyed swatch for your approval before production begins. Minimum order quantities for custom-dyed velvet start at 300 units.

Velvet has a directional pile that creates a rich, lustrous surface — ideal for presentation boxes where visual impact matters. Suede has a softer, non-directional nap that feels warmer and more understated, making it a strong choice for ring slots, cushion inserts, and any surface where jewelry sits directly against the fabric. Many brands use velvet on the lid interior and suede on the base where pieces rest.

Absolutely. We provide complimentary fabric sample kits that include swatches of every fabric type in our standard color range.
